So Major has been home just over a week now, after buying him back from the people I sold him to in June. It's not really any different to before, just bringing him into work slowly as he hasn't been ridden since July. He's testing, as always....!
He had his back done yesterday and was all over the place so is taking it steady for a few days as I expect he will be a bit stiff.
He hasn't had much done with him at all. He went to the foal show last year where he stood champion!
He was lead in to the yard today, he was mega!
In to his stable where he quickly settled. We then learnt about being tied up. He broke off once and just wondered to the next Haynet! Typical cob!

Re weigh taped last night and I was utterly shocked!
Ziggy: couldn't get a reading!!!!!!
So muzzles went back on last night and are living on, they are also I'm their bare patch which will be staying bare for the foreseeable future!!!

So Bobby is heading to the vets tomorrow morning for his pre-operation assessment for his Kissing Spine; they'll re-scan his back to see where and how bad it is to decide what surgical approach they'll take on Friday. He'll spend a few days at the vets and then I'll pick him up and take him to his new home at a lovely, quiet private yard for him to recover.
